In most instances, project engineers have specific requirements for water or liquid storage tanks that do not fit into the standard product sizes and can only be addressed with customised solutions.

As part of the process of creating customised liquid storage tanks, we illicit as much information from the client as possible, which in turn enables us to design the most appropriate and cost effective liquid storage solution for the specific circumstances provided.
Information we require includes the preferred diameter, height, and location of the tank. In addition, we enquire about the access to the site; prevailing weather and soil conditions; type of liquid to be stored in the tank; operational structure of the plant; commercial objectives that the tank is intended to satisfy; optimum delivery scenarios; and installation and commissioning deadlines and dates.

The best steel available – 1mm BMT Bluescope Zincalume® or Colorbond® sheets, making the tank walls up to 40% thicker than many other tanks on the market; The Elvaline liners are manufactured in-house to Australian potable water standards, and our tanks are upgraded to include stainless-steel bearings in the Whirlybirds.
Steelfab Water Tanks can be built from a low profile of 1.7m and upwards, in increments of 300mm. This means you can better maximise your water storage capacity for the given space available.
